Designers are a restless breed. Yet, while we’ve adopted a ‘yes, and’ approach to creative thinking—making sure that every brainstorming idea is given a few minutes of consideration rather than being shut down immediately—we often shy away from the same approach when thinking about how we can turn a hobby into a meaningful pursuit in its own right.
