Okay, let me talk about myself for a minute. See if you can relate. Right about the time I started working as a graphic designer, I found myself wanting to do more illustration. And, later, the writing bug hit me. Followed a strong crush on photography.
And then one day an old romance—a love of abstract art—came back around. And a year or two after that, it was the desire to shoot and edit videos that started filling my head.
Did I fight all these creative urges and stick to my safety net as a graphic designer? Heck no. I embraced each and every one of these side-gigs and invited them all under the one big, colorful, sometimes wild, and mostly fun circus tent that I call my career.
