Gil Shuler, often referred to as the ‘Brand Man’, moved to Charleston from Sumter in 1983, and has been putting his stamp on everything from corporate branding to menus and posters ever since.
Gil attended Western Carolina University, where he earned a Fine Arts degree with a concentration in graphic design. He then went from one ad agency art director position to another, and ultimately decided to go out on his own.
The rest, as they say, is history! A history that is laced with fascinating tales of how adherence to a simple design philosophy has made Gil Shuler and his self-titled graphic design company flourish in Charleston.
