Ahava Leibtag is a contemplative woman who successfully fills the roles of wife, mother, content strategist and hands-on business owner. She is the president and owner of Aha Media Group, a boutique content consultancy located near Washington, DC where she personally leads a team of more than 25. Ahava is a well-recognized content expert who brings to the table more than 20 years of experience spanning various industries. Helping her clients to communicate effectively is Ahava’s passion, and via Aha Media she provides persuasive content solutions to organizations.
In addition to her day job, Ahava is well known, and very active in the content strategy space. She founded the Content Strategy Meetup in DC, currently serves as the Accelerator Chair for Entrepreneurs’ Organization in Baltimore and is a member of the Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development. She travels frequently to speak, offers digital and strategy writing classes, has contributed to several publications, and is the author of The Digital Crown published by Morgan Kaufmann in 2013.
Away from work Ahava is an attentive mother, and a voracious reader. Travel is dear to her heart; her goal is to visit all 50 of the United States, and she’s visited at least 30 to date. Ahava indicates that she finds learning new things relaxing, and currently spends some of her downtime learning to play the guitar. Ahava shared that while some people do their best thinking in the shower, her weekly 5k walks provide her with creative insights.
Ahava describes herself as curious in that she finds the world and people fascinating. Creative in that she’s always thinking up ways to solve problems, whether it be aligning business objectives with digital strategy, or coordinating schedules. She indicates that she enjoys the collaboration that is so much a part of her profession, and makes it a priority to truly connect with her clients, family and friends.
