Maggie Griner is a member of the design team at Lullabot, an interactive agency known for launching high-performance, high-profile applications for the likes of MSNBC, The GRAMMYs, Tesla Motors, and Syfy. Lullabot is a distributed company, meaning that most of their sixty employees live and work in different cities. Maggie loves working from her home office—and the occasional coffee shop—in Charleston, South Carolina.
Although Maggie has extensive experience in all phases of design process, she has found her passion in user experience design, design research, and brand application. She encourages a research-informed process, marrying insights from research with design execution and brand application.
In Maggie’s free time, you will find her enjoying the Charleston foodie scene with family and friends, and getting creative in her own kitchen. Maggie also plays a solid round of golf (she was a member of the Women’s Golf Team at her alma mater, University of Alabama for four years), and “bends” her time to include yoga. She has an appreciation for music and plays the violin, her instrument of choice.
This Fall, Maggie will join us on October 29 to discuss Connecting Design Research to Your Sketches during her session for Revolve Conference at Wild Dunes Resort. The conference represents a convergence of extraordinary speakers and practitioners from around the country who will share road-tested insights on how to effectively realize ideas.
This year’s event concentrates on three main tracks, each with a specific focus:
- Design and User Experience
- Business Strategy
Additionally, some sessions will offer an insight into areas planned for the following year – content strategy, leadership, project and operations management.
Attendees can customize their personal agenda by choosing sessions with an aim to improve their craft, fulfill goals, and learn cutting edge trends and best practices in a relatively short time. Revolve Conference will be much more than just another conference; bring your curiosity, your appetite for Southern food and your desire for a good time.
