Rivers Pearce – the accomplished musician, attentive family man and consummate professional that one encounters today, is the product of the journey life has led him on.
After receiving a Philosophy degree from The College of Charleston in 2001, Rivers opted to make a living by relying on his skills as a musician (he is adept at both piano and guitar). He joined a band (Five Way Friday) and toured the United States extensively for five years.
By the time he settled in Atlanta, Pearce was ready for a change of pace, and eventually took a job that would launch his career in Search Engine Marketing (SEM). At 360i, a digital marketing agency, he worked his way up the ladder to manage Pay Per Click (PPC) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) campaigns for several notable Fortune 500 accounts.
Pearce then made his way back to Charleston in early 2010, and hired on at BoomTown! (an online real estate lead platform), to jump start and lead their Search Engine Marketing department. Over the years, by making use of many agency best practices, he has helped scale BoomTown’s client base from 70 to over 1500 clients. He has served as their Director of Client Success, Director of Digital Strategy, and now serves as Director of Marketing.
At BoomTown, Pearce leads an amazing team of PPC, SEO and PR experts, as well as several in-house writers. Rivers’ team is tasked with generating website traffic and leads for BoomTown’s brand, as well as consulting with BoomTown’s 1500+ client base on PPC and Inbound Marketing. He utilizes his experience with online marketing and advertising space to help clients navigate the ever-changing landscape of online marketing, so that they can focus on what they do best: helping consumers navigate the ever-changing world of real estate.
Rivers Pearce, is passionate about what he does for a living, he appreciates and embraces the joys of family and fatherhood, all a positive consequence of “The long and winding road [that has] led him back to [Charleston’s] door.”
This Fall, Rivers will join us on October 29 to discuss Think You’ve Got What It Takes To Compete In Today’s Attention Deficit Economy? during his session for Revolve Conference at Wild Dunes Resort. The conference represents a convergence of extraordinary speakers and practitioners from around the country who will share road-tested insights on how to effectively realize ideas.
This year’s event concentrates on three main tracks, each with a specific focus:
- Design and User Experience
- Business Strategy
Additionally, some sessions will offer an insight into areas planned for the following year – content strategy, leadership, project and operations management.
Attendees can customize their personal agenda by choosing sessions with an aim to improve their craft, fulfill goals, and learn cutting edge trends and best practices in a relatively short time. Revolve Conference will be much more than just another conference; bring your curiosity, your appetite for Southern food and your desire for a good time.
