Revision Path is an award-winning weekly interview podcast created to feature black graphic designers, web designers, and web developers from all over the world. Each episode explores the stories, processes, experiences, insights, and creative inspirations of these awesome creators. While Black designers and developers are Revision Path’s primary focus, creatives and techie types of all walks such as software developers, indie game developers, presentation specialists, UX developers, entrepreneurs, art directors, and illustrators have all been featured.
Revision Path was founded by Maurice Cherry, himself an entrepreneur and web designer. With the help of RJ Basilio, an international audio engineer and podcast editor from The Philippines, Maurice officially launched Revision Path in February 2013. Revision Path, recently celebrated it’s 150th episode, and in December 2015, was named the Most Inspiring Design Podcast in the inaugural Creative Market Awards.
At Revision Path, Maurice serves as editor-in-chief, host of the Revision Path podcast, and curator of 28 Days of the Web. In addition, Maurice functions as the principal at Lunch, a multidisciplinary creative studio in Atlanta, GA; and is the founder and chairman emeritus of the Black Weblog Awards. Maurice is active in the creative community, and is a member of the AIGA Diversity & Inclusion Task Force.
Revision Path’s website offers access to the podcasts, student perspectives, news and interviews via the Blog; and hosts a job posting board. Revision Path encourages discussion and collaboration in its Slack Community.
