AIGA – the American Institute of Graphic Arts, was founded in 1914 and is known as ‘The Professional Association for Design.’ AIGA advances design as a professional craft, a strategic advantage, and a vital cultural force. As the largest community of design advocates, AIGA brings together practitioners, enthusiasts, and patrons to amplify the voice of design, and create the vision for a collective future.

The South Carolina Chapter

The South Carolina chapter was founded in 2006 by Revolve Conference 2016 speaker Nikki Villagomez. Within the state of South Carolina, AIGA SC serves as the heart for all areas of creativity. The chapter’s goal is to stimulate, enhance and develop the graphic design profession, and embrace all fields of art.
